VPD System Administrator

To assure the performance management, co-ordination and administration of the Vulnerable Persons Database (VPD), and the information held thereon, with professional reference to the Force VPD Registrar.

To produce performance management reports and data in relation to VPD and to Quality Assure VPD submissions and Concern Hub processing. To maintain and develop standard and bespoke reporting of data held on the interim Vulnerable Persons Database.

To provide training, guidance and support to Police Officers and Staff on the use of the database. To use a variety of information management systems to provide responses to all issues, queries and requests from within the specialist Business Area and throughout the Organisation.

You will be educated to Higher level or equivalent OR where no formal qualifications exist, have extended relevant administrative experience in a relevant environment.

You will have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in a manner appropriate to the audience and the situation, as well as, exceptional planning and organisation skills with the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.

You will also have good problem solving skills.
